uncharacteristically, i didn’t do a stitch of work all weekend! instead, i was out of town for brittany and michael’s wedding. the wedding took place at deerpath lodge aka brittany’s parent’s place aka camp share-a-tent hq.
i made custom doug-fir themed journal gifts for all the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
someone else made all these cupcakes! and someone also made lemon bars [not pictured], my favorite! yum!

amy watson, the chiropractic part of my health team, and i collaborated on a new logo for her wellness center a few weeks back and now they have a spiffy new sign! you can see it in person at 5515 ne 30th ave, here in portland. of course i recommend amy if you’re looking for a chiropractor!
not much going on in the studio this week, so i’m taking the opportunity to clean the studio, prepare for upcoming projects, and can some of my garden bounty.

the calendar is now safely at the printer. i can breathe again. sort of.
the nerves won’t be fully calm til the boxes arrive from the printer in a few weeks!
saelee and i have spent so much time working on this project, it’s hard to be objective.
but, as usual, we had a lot of fun sending ideas and art back and forth between ourselves. and recruiting friends to help!

i spent a long weekend up in bellingham washington at the invitation of teresa and cara from texture home. put some of my art on the walls, brought two suitcases of goodies to display last friday night.
usually i show you pics of the food and drink at my openings, but i was having so much fun drinking grapefruit martinis and listening to the live band that i forgot!
i was charmed by the town itself the few days i was there. maybe it was the sea -water and -air [i've been homesick for the ocean since i've been living inland in portland], maybe it was the walkability of the town and the handful of cute shops such as left right left, digs, and the paperdoll.
the farmer’s market was also stellar, and teresa’s cute house nearby. of course, i have no pictures to show you of these things. i was too busy enjoying myself to actually document them!
